Found an ad in a comic book in 1969 or so. Sent in a self addressed stamped envelope and a dime. Strat sent me a brochure and the rest is history.

Watched my step dad playing a Strat game at age 8 or so and told my dad I wanted it for Christmas and the Strat fever began.

Friday night game night in the late 70s. Someone brought their Strat-o-Matic game. We started a short lived play of an 8 team league. Got abought half way through a 48 game season before life made changes to the group.

I found an add in a comic book Strat sent the brochure and I ordered the game. This was way back in the late 60's

I started playing with a friend in the early 80's. We would just sit on the porch or at the kitchen table and play series after series.
We were in rotisserie leagues too and used to play each others teams against each other.

It was a gift. I created my own team with my friends' names in Basic. The Miami Invaders. We were good. Stunning. A friend showed me the advanced version in college and recruited me to join a league for the 87 season. I managed to make the playoffs and almost took out the eventual champion. Was hooked from there.
